La Cultura Ya Llegó

There was a time, not long ago, when being Latino meant shrinking yourself. Speaking Spanish in public was a liability. The accent was something to train away. The music, the food, the culture, all of it was tolerated at best, mocked at worst. Assimilation was the price of admission to the American dream.

Today, Latino culture is not being added into mainstream platforms, it is shaping them.

In 2026, this shift became impossible to ignore: Bad Bunny headlined the Super Bowl halftime show performing in Spanish, Karol G became the first Latina Coachella headliner, and Young Miko co-created a global GAP campaign. Different stages, same signal: culture is now a driver of relevance, not an accessory to it.

This is no longer about representation. It’s about structural influence across music, fashion, sports, and consumer behavior.

We see this as a reset, not a trend. Multicultural audiences are no longer niche segments to be “included”, they are central to how culture is created, scaled, and monetized. The role of brands is shifting from inclusion to integration from borrowing culture to building with it.

So, what’s next for us is clear: moving from campaigns to systems; beyond one-off cultural moments toward long-term platforms and ecosystems. That means co-creation over activation, cultural partnership over targeting, and building with communities rather than speaking to them.

Because the opportunity is no longer to tap into culture; It’s to help shape what culture becomes next.
