The HALO team
Most chiropractic practices are one doctor and a front desk. This one is eight people: a chiropractic physician, a board certified internist, a Navy general surgeon, a nurse practitioner, a massage therapist, a sound alchemist and the two who run the floor.
Chiropractic physician
Known to everyone as Dr. O. Raised in Katy, Texas, played football at Sam Houston State and took a bachelor’s in kinesiology exercise science before Texas Chiropractic College. He added a sports physician’s licence at Northwest Health and Science Center. Married with four children, in Henderson since 2013.
Internal medicine
Board certified in internal medicine, University of Florida alumnus and former anatomy TA. Internship at Staten Island University Hospital’s level 1 trauma center, residency at Brandon Regional in Tampa. Served on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Adjunct clinical professor at Touro and Chamberlain.
General surgeon
Medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine with membership of the National Osteopathic Honor Society, then surgical residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and a general surgeon for the United States Navy.
Nurse practitioner
Began in 2009 as a combat medic in the Army and went on to become a nurse practitioner for the Air National Guard. Over fifteen years of service. Treats the whole family, infancy to elderly, with experience in infectious disease, orthopaedics, wound care, emergency medicine, weight loss and nutrition.
Massage therapist
Graduated from massage school in Kansas City in 2016 and founded a mobile massage company shortly after. Trained in crystal healing, cupping, Reiki, prenatal and lymphatic drainage among others. Believes emotional wellbeing matters as much as the physical.
Sound alchemist
An MBA from Westminster and a corporate career that never quite fit. Music was the constant: bands, studios, building guitars. He studied sound therapy under Vikrampal Singh and found his instrument in the gong.
Wellness coordinator
Years in health, wellness and management, with HALO since 2023. The first face you see, and the person who holds patient support together across every service in the suite.
Marketing coordinator
With HALO since 2018 and a Las Vegas native. Digital strategy across real estate, medical, non-profit and tech.
